Delightful! The assortment of live birds, insects, reptiles, amphibians, and geological curiosities is nicely complimented by an observatory including a dollar telescope. The short walk around the pond has some great views of wildlife. All very well worth the visit.
They were very nice, we didn't go through because they said that the birds might get upset with our Hearing Service Dog Mocha, so we stayed out of the part where you have to pay and just looked around inside the place and outside.

What a cool spot! Nature center fee gets you into the nearby observatory, too. So many birds of prey, lovely river view with swans and a nice walk around.
This center is lovingly designed and cared for, and is just in superb shape. Loved their animal and nature exhibits, including special events. We would love to come again!
